We have the conviction that education is a leverage to move the world and in particular is a fundamental piece in order to reduce inequality. It is for this reason that in Fundación 99 we chose to work on education from the educational innovation, understood as new teaching methodologies that promote the development of the XXI Century abilities just like collaboration, critical thinking, creativity, communication, citizenship and self-regulation. We look for the prominence of the students in their learning process and we believe in the positive impact of the families and communities in education. Five years ago we decided to focus on rural education.
