Lab99 is a space within Fundación99 aimed to create collaboratively and to generate new knowledge. We do not want to reinvent the wheel, but we are willing to think with others new solutions to social inequality problems our society faces. In order to do that, we use the Creative Learning Spiral model proposed by Mitchel Resnick, Professor from MIT Media Lab in his book Lifelong Kindergarten. Cultivating creativity through projects, passion, peers and play. This creative thought model begins with the imagination of a punctual challenge, then it follows the creation where the ideas of the imagination are put in concrete; in third place is to play or to implement the imagined creation. Then, it is necessary to share collaboratively what is being created. When the creation is already implemented, metacognition is performed in order to know what was learned, the failures, the successes, etc., reflecting on this and finally a new creation will be imagined, a new spin-off of what we imagined at the beginning.
